Youth Group

The teen years are an exciting time where young people develop their interests, engage in interesting conversations, understand concepts to a greater degree 

and how to apply those concepts to their own lives, and develop meaningful relationships.

In our youth group (7th - 12 grade), our end goal is not just to produce 

"good kids" but instead young people who have a genuine relationship 

with the Lord, love Him, and desire to make choices that please Him in every area of their lives. 

"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers in word,

in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." I Timothy 4:12

We try to accomplish this goal by the following means:

• A Bible study group specifically designed for this age
• Opportunities for the young people to be involved in the music program for the worship services
• Ways to minister to church members through help with household projects 
• Helping in Vacation Bible School 
• Participating in church-wide activities
• Activities specifically for the youth group
