The Apostle Paul wrote in his second letter to Timothy, "From a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures,
which are able to make thee wise unto salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus (3:15)."
Salvation is the entrance into the Christian life,
a life that is defined as
growing in the grace and knowledge of our
Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18a).
MBC’s ministry to children incorporates both
salvation and growth. The foundation of our teaching
is Christ-centered, and we train the children to demonstrate their faith through Christlike attitudes and behavior.

Activities Outside of Church
Elements of our children's ministry include accurate and interesting Bible teaching, memorization of Bible verses, Christ-honoring songs, projects reinforcing the lessons, service, and activity.
Our dedicated workers teach Biblical truth using exciting, creative methods geared to the specific ages of the children. God has blessed us with several college-trained and experienced classroom teachers who use a variety of techniques making the Bible easily understood by all learning styles.
In order to show the children the importance of using their gifts to serve the Lord, we provide opportunities for them to sing and play instruments in our services.
We want to teach the children
to serve others.
The young people help our church members with household projects and minister to the residents in nursing homes.
Each summer we offer Vacation Bible School, a week of Bible lessons, crafts, missionary story,
songs, and games.
Our short time of investment in the children will be greatly enhanced by Bible study in their homes. Beginning at age 10, children have an opportunity to go through Training of the Harvest, a youth initiative designed to teach children how to read and understand the Bible. The child will study every book of the Bible systematically to obtain a full picture of God.
This initiative also requires
a parent to be involved – as an accountability partner as well as
an encourager.
