Music

"I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving" (Psalm 69:30). The essential question in our music is if it is Scriptural. Jesus prescribed how the Father must be worshipped – in spirit 

and in truth (John 4:24). Therefore, not every genre of music is appropriate. Here at MBC, we sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs – with the understanding that while we are edifying one another, our worship is 

directed toward an audience of One. 

All ages praise the Lord as we join together in congregational songs, adult and children's ensembles, various vocal and instrumental solos. In addition to our regular services, we have special services like "singspirations" and cantatas where there is more music and speech around a certain theme.
