Shaping the Next Leaders

Who We Are

Youth Group is a great time for 7th-12th grade teens to grow in their personal relationship with God, to form lasting friendships with other teens and to learn to serve the Lord and others.

What We Do

Youth Group meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 for class focusing on studying the Word of God.  On Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. Youth Group meets for fun times with games and competitions, then for a Bible lesson with application directed to the lives of teens.  Once a month are action-packed activities and a SNAC on Sunday evening.  Mid-winter brings Snow Camp and summer brings a great week of Teen Camp.

Mission Statement

John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." The Youth Ministry exists to share the truth of God's Word with teenagers enabling them to live transformed lives to the glory of God. It is our desire to see the teens "Believing, Living And Sharing Truth."

Philosophy & Practice

Teens Believing, Living And Sharing Truth!

We desire to see our teenagers take three steps in their lives as they are confronted with the truth of God's Word: believing, living and sharing. Our goal is to see teens live the truths of Galatians 2:20.

1. Believing - "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ liveth in me." Our first desire is to see every teenager come to a point where he realizes that he is a sinner in need of a Savior and then begin to understand the Word of God. This is accomplished through teaching/preaching and evangelism.
2. Living - "...and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God..." Next, we desire that our teens learn the Biblical principles on how to live their lives, so that they are maturing in all areas of life and ministering to other believers. This is accomplished through church service opportunities, building relationships, activities and evangelism.
3.Sharing - "...I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Our third desire is to develop teens who are willing to take a Godly stand and actively share the Word of God to those who are around them, as they follow Christ’s example. This is accomplished through evangelism, service opportunities outside of church, activities and building relationships.
